Types of e-Tourist Visa

  1. 1-Month e-Tourist Visa: It is valid for 30 days from the date of arrival in India, with a single entry. This is a non-extendable and non-convertible visa to India.
  2. 1-Year e-Tourist Visa: A 1-year visa comes with multiple entries and is valid for 365 days with 90/180 continuous stay permission in India.
  3. 5-Year e-Tourist Visa: It comes with multiple entries and is valid for 5 years from the date of grant. Also, an Indian origin person or a person of Indian origin who is married to an Indian passport holder can convert it into a dependent visa in India.

  • Visit the Official Indian Visa Website: Go to the official Indian Visa Website.
  • Fill Out the Online Application Form: The applicant needs to fill in their Name, Religion, Passport Number, Present Address, and Last Indian Visa Details.
  • Upload Required Documents: Upload the applicant’s passport-sized photograph and Passport in PDF format.

E-Tourist Visa Stay Permission in India

An e-tourist visa has visa validity as per its visa type. An e-tourist visa issued by the Indian government ranges from 1 month to up to 5 years for foreigners with single/double/triple/multiple entries. Each visa has a maximum stay permission in one calendar year that should not exceed 90/180 days for a 1-year and 5-year tourist visa.
