How to Apply for an FRRO Business Visa Registration and Extension?

e-FRRO/e-FRO/ Business/ FRRO Visa Registration and Extension is granted by the Indian Government.  Here we have shared with you the steps to apply for the FRRO process in India.

  • Search e-FRRO Online.
  • Click on New Registration.
  • Fill in the email, phone number, applicant name, date of birth, nationality, and gender.
  • Register with your email and set a password.
  • Log in to the e-FRRO Portal. Select the required service, FRRO Business Visa Service, and fill out the application form.
  • Upload the required documents in PDF format and a passport-size photograph.
  • Submit and wait for further instructions from the FRRO.
  • Check your application status regularly. If the FRRO sends an additional document request, upload the required documents at the earliest possible.
  • Once the FRRO opens the payment request, then log in to your account and pay the government fee via UPI, net banking, credit card, or debit card.
  • The FRRO will send your certificate to your registered email.

Can A Business Visa Holder Convert Into an Entry Visa in India?

It’s is a non-convertible visa in India, but it can also be converted into an entry visa in the following circumstances in India. If a foreigner who is married to an Indian passport holder and does not want to continue their work and business in India, then it can be converted into an entry visa with multiple entries for 1 to 5 years. Here we share the eligibility to convert a B-1 Visa into an Entry Visa in India.

  1. A foreign national who is married to an Indian passport holder/OCI Cardholder is eligible to convert their visa into an entry visa in India.
  2. Indian origin — A foreign national whose parents/grandparents are Indian passport holders/OCI cardholders can also apply for visa conversion and convert their visa into an entry visa in India.
