The following details and documents need to be uploaded to the Indian Visa Site in India. Here we have shared the document checklist:-
1. Scanned Bio Page of Passport (PDF)- It must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in India and should be clear.
2. Passport-size Photograph (JPEG) – Recent, front-facing photo with a white background, and the face should be visible
3. Business Card or Invitation Letter – A copy of your business card or a business invitation letter from the Indian company you’re visiting.
4. Company Incorporation Certificate (Indian Company) – Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration of the inviting Indian company.
Employment Visa holders who are travelling to India need to register their visa with the FRRO within 14 days of arrival in India. If you miss the registration process, it can create trouble for you, and you will need to pay a penalty for late registration of the Employment Visa.
The registration processing time is 2 to 3 weeks, but it also depends on your company and organization type and your application filing.Â
e-business Visa Cannot Convert to any other visa during the stay Except in the following circumstances in India. Â
An Employment Visa can be converted into an Entry Visa if an Employment Visa Holder marries an Indian Passport holder during the Visa Validity and does not want to continue their work in India. An Entry Visa Holder cannot do any business, employment, or study in India during the stay in India. For Employment Visa Conversion into an Entry (X) Visa, the following are mandatory documents:Â Â
An Employment Visa Holder falls sick in India during the visa validity; then, after the checkup and medical treatment, it can be converted into a Medical Visa in India. Also, their dependent visa can be converted into a Medical Attendant (Medical X) Visa.
All these services are issued by the FRRO after verifying all the documents submitted by the applicant. If any document or details are found incorrect, then the FRRO can cancel your application.
